ULTRA-GLOSS® Candy Red
WARNING: Ultra-Gloss Candy films are produced with metallic flake that reduces the overall reflectivity of the material ( slight orange peel). The finish however is still leaps and bounds glossier than any regular wrap film.
VViViD has been working on the ultra-gloss film for over 4 years. Patents have been registered and formulas perfected! However the actual launch of this product should have been 2021… Due to other manufacturers racing to create their own variation of this new type of film, we had to release our materials so we can compete, more colors to come!
Candy colors are packed with metallic flake and will offer an intense, deep, wet metallic finish.

Installation differences:
ULTRA-GLOSS® is the closest thing you can get to OEM paint in gloss wraps. This change makes the film more difficult to prep/install since every imperfection is magnified. Here are some tips to get the best finish from your ULTRA-GLOSS film.
Installation tips
1. Clay bar: Originally, clay bars have not been necessary for car wraps but with the dramatic increase in finish clarity, small specs and surface contaminants will show through exponentially. Although still not necessary for the integrity of the wrap, it's highly suggested for added surface clarity.
2. Nano Air-release is there to enhance the finish of the product however it may be harder to remove trapped air on large surfaces. It is suggested to apply the film while holding excess material off the surface. This will prevent trapped air and distortions the in film. In the event of bubbles, press the bubble softly or puncture to let air out.
3. Stretchable cap: The stretch cap can be installed without removing throughout the entire wrap process. It is important to note that the cap removes pliability of the film by about 18% meaning, it's performance will be at 82% whereas the uncapped film is at 100%. For precision cutting, seams and joints, make sure you remove the cap in those areas.

The VIVID Ultra-gloss Candy Red does NOT disappoint! Rich, sexy, fun, edgy! Can't wait to get it on my project car! She deserves a dress this enchanting.
Love the colour, it really pops in the sun. I’m a beginner and watched videos. Only issue I’ve had was it pulls up a little bit of paint but that’s because it’s 57 yr old paint. Not vvivids fault. Choosing the colour is the hardest part. So many awesome colours.
amazing , very nice thanks !!
I absolutely love this product. I had been searching for a high quality vinyl wrap to freshen up our boat with faded red gel coat. No amount of polishing could bring it back to original. This candy red vinyl wrap was the only vinyl wrap I found that actually looked “real”. Nice depth of colour, with the right amount of fleck and a gorgeous thick clear coat. The boat honestly looks better than factory now. I purchased a 5’ x 25’ roll and cut it down to two 2.5’ x 25’ so I could do both sides of the boat. My only preference would be to be able to purchase in 3’ wide rolls so I had a bit more material to follow the curvature of the bow without having to stretch too far. Otherwise I have no complaints. Looking forward to seeing this product in candy blue, turquoise and white :). Thanks for a great product. Nothing like it.
